Welded assemblies,
MIG/MAG and TIG

Frames, manifolds and enclosures, welded in audited shops in our Bursa network. Weld quality follows the ISO 5817 level on your drawing. Send STEP and a PDF drawing; we come back with a route, a price and a lead time.

When a welded assembly is the right choice

Welding suits parts built from tube, profile, plate and bent sheet: machine frames, bases, manifolds, enclosures. It joins large or open shapes that would waste material if milled from solid.

MIG/MAG is the usual choice for steel frames and thicker sections. TIG gives cleaner, more controlled seams on stainless and thin walls. Faces that must be flat or bores that must line up are machined after welding. If your part is a mix, we route it and tell you why.

Design rules that cut cost

  1. State the weld quality levelPut the ISO 5817 quality level on the drawing. Without it the shop has to guess, and a tighter level than needed costs inspection time.
  2. Size welds to the loadGive each fillet weld a throat size that matches the load. Oversized welds add heat, distortion and cost.
  3. Leave access for the torchEvery seam needs room for the torch and a line of sight for the welder. Tight inside corners are hard to weld well.
  4. Machine after weldingWelding heat moves the part. Leave stock on faces and bores that need tight tolerances and machine them after welding. Stress relief before machining
  5. Use standard tube and profile sizesStock sections are quicker to source than special sizes or cut plate.
